As we move forward with our practices, it is great to have the support of a guide. However, connecting with the emptiness can be just as valuable. Step away for a moment, from interaction with your guide and contemplate how it feels to have let go? How do you feel right now? How does the other side of your release feel?

Many times, we want to rush from the emptiness and into the coming year. While it’s good to set resolutions, take a moment to pause before you do so. Sit in the emptiness for a while. If you’re doing the New Year’s Day Workshop, you’ll have a chance to set resolutions. If you’re not, give yourself a day or two to ponder the feeling of nothingness, of being free of responsibilities and plans.
